OUR COMMITMENT is in our message of the importance of "Honoring Our Elders". It was aired on many news and/or interview shows and appeared in over two dozen newspaper articles last year. This message, spoken loud enough in the community, says clearly that we will not forget the emotional needs of our seniors who are confined to nursing homes. This message invites the community to come and do something about it.

Presently, Pet Therapy® visits 16 nursing homes each week, reaching over 1,000 patients, staff members and volunteers. Over the next twelve months, Pet Therapy, Inc.® hopes that it will expand its visits to 30 nursing homes per week reaching between 2,000 to 2,500 individuals. Presently, Pet Therapy® has 75 volunteers with 30 of them being children.
